Yes, it’s true! FBI special agents Dana Scully and Fox Mulder have turned fugitives, owing to a conspiracy of the government to conceal information about an alien invasion of the Earth.
But, didn’t the government agency FBI itself appoint Mulder and Scully to solve the X-Files in the first place? ‘X-Files’ is the name given to the cases marked as ‘unsolvable’ by the FBI. All these cases have some evidence of a supernatural or extra-terrestrial intervention, and are the focus of work for Dana and Mulder.

As all of us know, Dana was always the skeptic who tried to find a scientific explanation for all the paranormal activities in The X Files. On the other hand, Mulder has always been a believer in the existence of super intelligent aliens on the Earth.
While the beginning of the series saw Dana and Mulder in constant arguments and opposition of each others’ views, their professional and personal relationship matured over time. And when the two of the most intelligent FBI agents start working as a team, they might end up knowing more than what they are supposed to!
That’s what has happened in the case of Dana and Mulder. Mulder gets abducted by aliens and it later becomes known that he is facing a clandestine military trial for accessing classified information about a supposed alien attack.
But Mulder escapes from the trial and becomes the ‘most wanted’ fugitive for FBI officials.
I know you must be wondering about what is the big secret that the government officials want to hold back.
Well, I’m not going to give out the whole thing to you, but here’s a hint…The classified information that Mulder breached into has got something to do with the mythologically predicted massive alien attack on the Earth in December 2012!
