With this FBI Special Agent joining the NYPD Gangster Squad, the rising levels of crimes on the East coast can be prevented from crossing the border of Los Angeles, and spelling doom!

Warner Bros would soon lift the curtains off the Village Road show, ‘The Gangster Squad’, which would have Robert (agent Dogget of X Files) casted opposite the likes of Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling, Josh Brolin, Michael Pena and Anthony Mackie.

Patrick will be cast as Max Kennard, a LAPD officer from Texas, who is in the habit of choosing brawn over brain in order to force the law down the throats of offenders.

The Gangster Squad was actually formed by LAPD to prevent the increasing levels of crime and corruption in the East Coast from affecting Los Angeles.

Paul Lieberman had penned down the entire LAPD struggle in his articles that have been the major inspiration behind the creation of this saga.

The series will be produced by Dan Lin and Kevin McCormick, whereas John Silk of Lin Pictures will step in as the co-producer.

Robert must be tired after meeting the demands of his tight schedule including his dates for Universal’s ‘Safe House’ and Billy Bob Thornton’s ‘Jayne Mansfield’s Car.’

The download of immense fame into his life can be attributed to his performance as John Jay Dogget in the TV series, The X Files. He is no alien to big screen, as he has painted it with hits like Walk the Line, Die Hard 2 and Terminator 2: Judgment Day.

So, now Robert will have to carry out the multiple-assignments in his kitty by chalking out a balanced ‘dates allocation plan.’ Let’s hope he does full justice to all his roles, as always!
