Annabeth Gish, the daughter of Judy and Robert Gish, is among the very popular American actresses. Annabeth’s father was an English professor at the University of Northern Iowa and mother was an elementary school educator. Annabeth moved to Cedar Falls, Iowa, along with her family, when she was at two only and grew up there along with her siblings, brother Tim and sister Robin.
In the early years of her career, Annabeth Gish landed a leading role on Desert Bloom, the 1986 teen film. At the same time, she became fluent in Spanish. She next joined the Northern University High School and completed her graduation in 1989. Annabeth then enrolled in Duke University. While there, she became the member of the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and studied drama program, films studies and women’s studies. In July 1993, Annabeth received a BA in English.
In 1987, Annabeth Gish was seen on ‘Hiding Out’ along with Jon Cryer. And, in the following year, 1988, she was seen on Mystic Pizza, portraying the character of the sister of Julia Roberts’ character. In 1989, Annabeth made appearance as a rape victim, Lyn McKenna on a TV movie ‘When He’s Not a Stranger’. In the 1994 TV miniseries ‘Scarlett’, Annabeth was seen portraying the character of Anne Hampton, the second wife of Rhett Butler. In the very same year, she portrayed Urilla Sutherland, Wyatt’s childhood sweetheart and eventual wife on Wyatt Earp. In 1996, she was seen portraying Tracey on Beautiful Girls. It was 1997 when Annabeth got her first major movie role on Steel, the movie adaptation of DC Comics superhero, portraying the role of Susan Sparks. In the same year, she was seen on True Women, the TV movie, portraying the character of Euphemia Ashby. In the subsequent year, 1998, Annabeth made appearance on SLC Punk! as Trish, a head shop owner.

It was 2003 when Annabeth Gish became a part of the star cast of The X-Files as Special Agent Monica Reyes. In the eighth and ninth seasons of the show, Annabeth served as the principal character of the show, along with Robert Patrick, the fellow cast-mate. In 2003, Gish joined ‘The West Wing’ as Elizabeth Bartlet Westin, a guest character. In 2006, she was seen on The Celestine Prophecy, an independent movie playing the character of Julia. She then appeared as a co-star on Candles on Bay Street. She soon joined the Showtime drama ‘Brotherhood’ as Tommy Caffee’s wife Eileen.
Annabeth Gish is married to Wade Allen, the The X-Files stunt man and has two sons, Cash Alexander Allen and Enzo Edward Allen.

Annabeth Gish portrayed the character of Monica Reyes on the popular series ‘The X-Files’. As a religious and highly spiritual person, Reyes had all the characteristics owned by the other characters of the series. She was seen on some episodes of eighth season but on all episodes of the ninth season of ‘The X-Files’. The lady secured a strong fan following with her appearance on the series.
